Thanks, Dazen. I also managed to snag an Itamae Bunka, which are now sold out. Perfect timing because i was just debating a purchase of one of these with myself the past few days, vs the BD1n variants. I have had the hots for some Super Blue for years and this was just the ticket.

Currently looks like there are only 5 Nakiri left and that's it for the clearance Itamae.

I’m happy y’all were able to snag something. I too was debating between Super Blue and BD1N and have been watching C&M for months now. They had the Bunka for $339 for a while, while that was a good price, I was holding out for their 20% memorial sale. Once the super blues were on clearance today I knew they wouldn’t last until Memorial Day.

I’ve handled all the Murray Carter knives and the G10 offers incredible balance over the FRN. I’m just happy I landed on the awesome price.
