They're kind of rare and I don't think they were sold to the USA kind of like the Janisong... People love them tho
That's correct. The Bifold is an Eric Glesser design, intended to be a creative lock and opening style for a Swick/SPOT-style knife. Unfortunately, some ban-happy bureaucrats decided it was restricted, like autos and butterflies (same as with the Janisong as you pointed out), so they aren't generally available to prople who aren't military or first responders.
If you like the Swick/SPOT style as I do but fixed blades are inconvenient or restricted, the Introvert is is cool backlock flipper that is like s Swick when open. Discontinued but you might be able to find one.

BladeHQ still has some good bundle deals up on their site.
I wish someone would either buy out that Police 4/Atlantic Salt combo, or buy it for me, because it's been tempting me for a week now.
I can't believe that one hasn't sold out. I'm not particularly interested in either of those knives other than the k390 in the police and I've still almost bought it. :D I rarely carry a knife with over a 3.5" blade or I surely would've rationalized it by now.
Heck the police 4 alone sells for ~$200 on eBay according to recent sales. I doubt that will go down until/unless they release the lw in k390.

I keep going back and forth between that Police model, or the 52100 Combo edge Para2 on sale at Knifecenter. Neither one is likely a good idea because of where I live, but darn it, I like a good patina.

Haves: Lava, Delica 4 Sante Fe Stoneworks, Spy-DK x2,
They were being sold through Walmart, by The Roost, which I believe is a Rakuten seller. Of course, I have no idea if there is any significance to that, but I doubt the authenticity at that price. Even if the purchase was fully returnable, I never want to give anyone selling fake Spydercos (not saying they were, just a suspicion) any bit of business or sales, never even a cent, so I passed even while there were two left in stock.
The Roost and Red’s Gear are the same company I believe and I have purchased from each of them a few times. I got a Ladybug Hawkbill from reds gear for $22 a few years ago. I purchased my Proficient on Rakuten with a 20% off deal through The Roost just to name a couple.

Also, do you think a kangaroo would eat a bowl of spagetti with sauce if someone offered it to them?
I wasnt too interested in that knife but at that price Ill give the steel a try. Plus if I ever go backpacking it seems perfect.
I picked one up at that price from KC earlier in the fall, and am glad I did. New steel to me, and in a very slim design (the handles are quite thin). I like it, and am glad I snapped it up. $100 is a fantastic price! It's a good box cutting knife, and also does well with fruit. Haven't had the occasion to use it outdoors yet though. Hope you enjoy it!
