Yeah, that was a consideration for me too.. I've been waiting and saving for the Dodo, but when I saw it, I just couldn't pass up this deal.

Still debating whether or not I go after the Dodo tmrw.. I've wanted one ever since I got into Spyderco, but the jade/M4 isn't my favorite.. then again, chances at a Dodo are few and far between.. but I've spent so much money on knives lately and still need to buy Christmas gifts for my family.. But, it's a DODO! (hah, this is the internal struggle going on in my head right now..) Let's be honest, if I can get one into my cart tmrw, I'll likely pull the trigger on it!

I wonder if that was a mistake. They usually add ten bucks to the more expensive knife price for these, not add ten to the price of the cheaper one.

Same here! I likely would have jumped on that had I seen it. But, I scored the Rex45 Para 3 and Calypso JR in Super Blue (currently in my mailbox :) ) from National Knives last week. I need a break!

Wife's birthday on the 19th, then Christmas, then our dating anniversary (which I didn't think would still be a thing now that we're married, but apparently it is! I'm not telling her no :p ) step daughters birthday the last day of January, then Valentines day!! Rough couple months for this guy hahha!

Don't know if it's new, they seem to be putting up new bundles with discontinued spydies daily, but Police 4 k390/g10 and Atlantic salt bundle for $190 at blade hq seems a really good deal.

I decided to pass on the Dodo. I want it but it's not something I'd really use much. I'd be buying it just to have and I already have several knives laying around here that don't see much use. I'm in the same boat.. a "great deal!" is all the excuse I need these days to get a knife.. I need to stop haha! I really need to just learn to enjoy the knives that I already have.. I feel bad enough as it is that I don't get to use each of them more than I do. I couldn't pass on the Dodo though..
