What's Your Most Abused Spyderco?

For us it's a poor little VG10 dragonfly in the kitchen drawer. It's always sticky from tape adhesive opening boxes. It's been used to break down boxes with staples, pry things, etc. The kitchen drawer beater!

Aqua Salt. The person that sent it said to rough it up, so I did. Decade of batoning and prying wood for fires and other more abusive tasks and it took it all like a champ.

Similar with a orange DF2 drawer beater, but my DLC S30v PM2 has seen a lot of dumb ****.

Straight up abuse was my S110v Manix2 LW that lived in my pool for a season.

After breaking its tip around 2010, this Native was reshaped on a bench grinder. This all happened back before I knew enough to appreciate knife aesthetics. I regret what I did to it, and it will be getting a new 3V blade when I get around to it.

K12P. Used and abused. Survives the dishwasher weekly. Doesn't complain. Sharpens up easily. Makes onions cry.

All of them. I don’t discriminate. All my spydercos I could buy again. I don’t hesitate to do what I need/want/etc... the way I see it is if I mess it up, I learned something about limits.

Don’t know if abused is the right term but my s110v pm2 and s110v manix get construction duty on the House. It’s messy. Trim some wood. Cut insulation or bituthane flashing. Open packs of screws, nail or saw blades. Trim old caulk. Open tubes of sika flex. So many tasks. They never let me down.

Well that makes two of us that vote for the GOLDEN,CO made NATIVE model. My 440V, full SE Native has done a couple of jobs where at first I thought I was going to sacrifice the knife before I even started either one of the jobs from **** I put it through. But it survived both jobs and is waiting for the next brutal job. The GOLDEN, CO made NATIVE for it's size range is just unbelievably tough IMO>> especially with that 440V blade.
However after getting back my M390 Military model from the Spyderco Emergency Room I've put it through some really bad abuse as well>> and it's held up incredibly well. But after getting it back from Spyderco's state of the art Emergency Room ( Warranty & Repair) I think it's ready for another 3 to 4 years of heavy usage. There's just a super tough tenacity built in to all of the GOLDEN made Spyders that I've experienced.

I think probably this Caribbean that I've been beating on lately. I really don't do a lot of "stupid knife tricks". If I'm wearing pants I have a multitool on me so I use it for prying.

My old Pacific Salt PE. I carry it loose in my pocket for prying, scraping, lending, or anything else I don't want to use my other Spyders for.
I don't get people who only carry one knife :thinking ;)

Faithful, good looking, awesome knife with a good steel, that says, “gimme more”.

Saber ground ZDP-189 Delica... it has seen far more use in rough conditions than any other spyder I have.

For me it's an old franken-Manix 2 with M4 blade and black G10 scales. I bought it that way and don't know the story behind it. It has a lot of honest patina like an old tool and I treat it like a pure tool and use it as a weekend work knife around the house.
