My Autonomy. It feels like it's cut from solid steel!

I'd say: (in no praticular order)
Tuff
Li'l Temperance
O.G. Manix Back lock
Gunting
Chinook
Superleaf
Shaman
The original 2002-2003 era Lil Temperance may even be tougher than the GOLDEN made NATIVE. And those Lil T models from that era are really getting tough to find. Also interesting that you have the GUNTING on that really nice list of yours too

You could also get the Lil T in full SE which helps with brutal jobs. I can't even imagine how rugged that TUFF model would be in full SE.

Oddly enough, it’s probably my saber ground Emerson opener Delica 4. Thick blade, robust tip, hefty primary grind.

Manix 2 Backlock
Ditto. The M2BL is a really strong hard use knife.

I can´t imagine things getting much "tougher" concerning Spyderco folders than my Delica comboedge sabregrind and the Endura sabre grind (which I sold just a few weeks ago to get a Pac Salt SE instead):

Almost no distal taper, thick sabre grind, very stout tip, undestructable FRN, steel liners, a lot of steel in the back due to the lock, closed back generally, VG10, and last but not least backlock... that´s "toughness" for me!

My Pac Salt SE feels very tough too, H1 should be even tougher than VG10. If you push it to the extreme, the linerless handle must be a bit "weaker" though than the linered of Endura and Delica of course, but I don´t think that is of real practical relevance. The tip of the Pac Salt is also a bit "weaker" just by design (not concerning the H1 steel!) being chisel grind. Again, most likely no practical relevance though.

Roland.
.....

2. Pac Salt SE: H1 is very unlikely to break, minimal distal taper, strong tip

So you got yours too? How do you like it so far? Mir taugt´s ziemlich... Hab gleich noch ein Schwarzes als backup für´s Gelbe bestellt..

It would be a toss up between my original Manix and my Chinook 2. They look different, but are built exactly the same and are as tough as nails. Neither is a knife I'd consider carrying unless world goes to ****.

I don’t think I can single out a particular model as the toughest. They’re all tough. I could probably narrow it down to one of my backlocks.

I can say, compared to other brands I have, that I would consider my Spydercos to be my toughest folders.

Having a lot of folders over the years

GB1 without a doubt. Tank

But the pacific salts have taken a beating on my boat for years and always surprise me on the build quality of Spyderco.
(living in the NT Australia the fish I fillet are all big fish, the baits I cut up are always tough)

Some others that have not been mentioned other than the Lionspy are:

Burch Chubby
Original Techno

All have 4.5m thick blades and titanium R.I.L.

I have only two and I'd guess both are very though, can't decide!

1. Native 5 CPM Cruwear: For the same reasons you mentioned.
Btw. fantastic scale swap there... I hope Flytanium or someone other will offer AM titanium scales for it.

2. Pac Salt SE: H1 is very unlikely to break, minimal distal taper, strong tip
Me too. Somebody was selling an s35vn fluted for a crazy price and I couldn't resist. Plus I now have a LW s35vn Native that daughter #2 will love. #1 already got a yellow one. :)
The fluted scales are one of the most beautiful titanium scales I have seen! I inquired Flytanium about tit. scales a few weeks ago and received a "Chances are pretty good" answer. They did some Yojimbo and Lil Native scales recently so I got my hopes up :)

I am considering a pink N5 for my wife, its such a great model.

Yes and it was a great idea! I had no idea that there is so little distal taper and am positively surprised about it. Its my first SE as well and the cutting performance is fantastic. Its also my first FRN knife and I was surprised how light it was, I also prefer the handle pattern over the new one.

To me the Pac Salt is THE "no-nonsense" knife. Maintenance free, robust, great cutting performance, perfect blade length for a folder, solid backlock design.

I also plan to modify the tip and make it sharp. This should also satisfy my need for a PM2 hehe :D

My toughest Spydie folder would be either my original Manix, my Superleaf, my GB1, or one of my Shamans. None would be nearly as tough as my SE Enuff Salt.

In reality it is probably my Manix 2 Cruwear, but I treat my Manix 2 M4 as if it is a tough knife.
