I realized October is almost over and I haven't carried this pair yet!

I carried this one on a seven day backpacking trip the week before last (AT through the Smokies end to end). It was strenuous and plenty sweaty. It got a few pepper marks on the blade, which would likely have been worse if I had not wiped it down with Vaseline before the trip.

Stunning! That patina just from normal use or from certain objects?

Butter and steak! Not sure which specifically lends the blue. I take a salted strip steak and flash fry it medium rare in a pan with half a tablespoon of butter and that's the effect it has on both Rex45 and K390.

I posted this over in the K390 thread, but felt like I needed to get in on the Rextober love before the time passed.

This is definitely my subdued Earthy PM2 fall lineup...

That was not your original post...you're a big fan of post edits I see...you just edited both of your replies to two different posts of mine in two different threads. Stop being a troll.

Those are definitely some of the coolest scales I've ever seen. He doesn't post this knife often, but when he does... *drools*

I had a few Rex45 knives and sold them as my taste in models has evolved. I hope they do another round of Burnt Orange Rex45 sprints in some different models. The Manix LW, and Native LW would be great. Especially in DLC.
