Since we're already getting the Shaman, I'd probably ask for this combo in some of the Hossom fixed blades from years past....
EDC Rotation: PITS, Damasteel Urban, Shaman, Ikuchi, Amalgam, CruCarta Shaman, Sage 5 LW, Serrated Caribbean Sheepsfoot CQI, XHP Shaman, M4/Micarta Shaman, 15v Shaman
Fixed Blades: Proficient, Magnacut Mule
Special and Sentimental: Southard, Squarehead LW, Ouroboros, Calendar Para 3 LW, 40th Anniversary Native, Ti Native, Calendar Watu, Tanto PM2
Would like to own again: CQI Caribbean Sheepsfoot PE, Watu
Wishlist: Magnacut, Shaman Sprints!

Caly 3 and/or ukpk would be tops on my list.

Mixed feelings about domino and Brouwer as there is only a scale on one side.

But the real sneaky pick, one eyed jack with bolster and micarta handle, no inlay, would be so nice.

As usual for me it is more about the MICARTA and less about Cruwear (not saying anything against Cruwear, I have no experience with that steel! It´s just that I personally am totally fine with XHP, VG10, S30V...)

And also as usual: Just my favorites:

Endura 4, Endela (ffg SE!), Stretch 1 (ONE! ;) ) , and last but not least :Chaparral! In the latter there is hope for Micarta I guess, since the model is meant to display different handle materials

Pac Salt, though my new favorite, not so much. I think FRN fits this particular model just perfectly and I am not so sure if I´d want linerless Micarta...
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

If it was to be a Para 3 then i would say make the scales in the style of the LW - eg wire clip and moved lanyard hole ( beter still no lanyard hole)

BUT i think it should be the Tatanka!! - Beast Mode!!
Andy
Necker - Ladybug Hawkbill Salt
Mon-Fri - Delica4 in Cruwear
Sat-Sun - Para3 in Cruwear

Urban K390 (2.61"), Bow River (for slicing jerky)

Want to try- PM2 CF M4 OR Cruwear , GB2, Bradley Bowie
Gone - Delica ZDP189, PM2 Cruwear, Para3 LW BD1N, Para3 S30V, Junction, Ti UKPK

The aftermarket crucarta Manix 2 is currently my favorite combo in a larger folder.

A fixed blade like the Bradley Bowie.

For a folder - Native Chief, Manix 2 XL, or Military.

Nobody better say a darn Para 3!

Though against the grain of what it is...GB2 would be pretty dreamy to me!

Autonomy 2. With a slightly smaller, maybe recessed button. Other choices would be the Gayle Bradley Folder 2, Caribbean, or a Manix 2/Manix 2 XL. If it’s either of the Manix I’d wanna see it DLC with green Micarta. Any of the other models satin with denim.

Depends. Cruwear doesn't interest me, but if the Micarta is "original recipe" and not just something Norplex has slapped the Micarta name on, then I'd buy a Stretch 2 like that, swap the blade with an FRN/VG-10 one, and sell the FRN/Cruwear FrankenStretch.

I would also love to see more of this exact Micarta.
On the Manix 2 would be wonderful, but it's already had the Cruwear treatment. How about having this scale material on a Manix 2 in K390, or Rex 45? The Manix 2 is still owed that steel treatment.

Just a heads up: looks like Knife Center has a few of their Cruwear manix 2 back in stock...less than 20, but if anyone wants one there are micarta aftermarket scales out there.

It's such a great price for that knife too, smooth scales or not. Don't pass it up everyone!!

On the Micarta scales front, I think I'm going to copy you and put the Putman scales on my Cruwear Manix and switch the CF scales to the 20CV. I initially did it the other way because I didn't want to copy you a couple days after you did it, but I like the Cruwear and Micarta a bit more than the other combo :)

Well I can't fault you for that! As this thread demonstrates, it's a combo of grippy scales and tougher steel that just makes sense. And cf and 20CV seem well-suited for each other, too.
