Any news on the 4 new Swick (LC200N) models announced on May 5, 2020?

They were waiting on sheaths, but the maker was ill with COVID. Now I hope they are OK since it has been months.

Bump.

Considering the way the stars seemed to have aligned, perhaps a custom fixed in Magnacut would be more expedient in the meantime.

I don't know if it tells us anything but, the Sheath Manufacturer career listing is still up on Spyderco.com. :/

Hey Burton!
I'm pretty sure you're correct. Maybe once Sal gets back from the island he'll have news for us.

No. As Sal said on page 4 of this thread “ Christina at SheathPro is one of the best sheath makers that I know of and she has been working on developing this sheath for the finished production knives…”

I think she’s the Glesser, or someone at SheathPro is anyway.

Oh, sorry. I have no knowledge of that. I just thought that you thought it was Sal or Eric.

Working on sheaths in Jan 21 and now it's May 22, LOL, the sheath maker must be one of old friends network, what can I say, we're actually fortunate that Sal and Eric are self-employed if I may say so, otherwise if they'd be managing this project for somebody else they'd be long gone from the job :grin-big eyes

I'll still be looking forward to buy one of these, that's if they'll ever gonna release it.

Even if after all these years now with double digit inflation, double energy prices, war and a very probable recession in Europe I'm afraid to even think about how much they'll end up costing in here.

Alternatively, if they'll still be struggling with sheaths for the next few years can't they just sell the knives without sheaths?

Now, before WWIII starts and while we still have jobs and before russians start showering us with the nukes they keep threatening us on TV.

I'll google someone in EU that can make something up or I'll carve one in wood myself and secure it with duct tape - desperate times call for desperate measures :grin-big eyes

I'm certain there will be aftermarket sheaths made for this, so I'm totally fine with a sheathless one now rather than a sheathed one in a year.

Hope Sal is well. He hasn’t chimed in here in this thread and hasn’t posted at all on the forum the past 10 days!
