I just love how patient people are in this thread without resorting to demands and whatnot, unlike that "other" obnoxious thread :')

The fact an LC200N Swick is even a thing has me thrilled beyond words.

I spent a decade throwing that on my lists for threads like "If you could have any Spyderco in any steel?"

I never expected it to happen.

So even though I haven't enjoyed waiting a year & change since the reveal, just knowing it's coming out at some point makes me happy.

Well, it's been a month since the last sheath update. I take it the 50 sheaths didn't pass QC? Any update I got the patience of a 3 year old?

I'm laid off right now because of the micro chip shortage. I'd be glad to crank some Boltaron out on the Kydex press in the basement, if ya think it would help.

I think Spyderco is focussed on getting current catalog items back in stock and new items are pushed to the back burner until they are caught up. If true, it probably is true of their suppliers as well. In other words, maybe the sheaths for the Swick 5 are delayed until the sheaths for other knives are finished up? It's all a guess, but seems plausible.

Hi Skeeg,

Glad you like it. Thanx much for the kind words. We try. I'm carrying one as well.

On those Swicks, my apologies. Our sheath maker is undergoing one of two surgery's and will be detained for a few more weeks.

My condolence. Hope she will get well soon and back in action ASAP. Believed 50 pcs pre-production sheath can’t meet the QC spec.

Hi Sal, any new updates on the release of the Swick 5/6? I’m really looking forward to this one, for both my own personal carry and one for my wife. I love you guys kept the ladies in mind with this design and will rest a bit easier knowing she has one on her!

Much appreciated. Will the price remain the same if the release is after Jan 1, 2022?
