i remember that thread. i mentioned sprints and exclusives mainly because i don't understand the steel choices that seem so prevalent. the tool steels seem pretty polarizing to me and limited in their attraction (although everyone around here seems to be falling all over themselves for more of it). i just think it would be nice to see a more stainless option for sprints and exclusives. every knife doesn't need to be m4 (i know it's not, but that's the most recent frustration for me personally). i'd love a dodo, but i'm not buying one in m4.
as far as lc200n goes, i'd mostly like to see spyderco expand it to more models. i know that it's not as easy as changing the blade steel and calling it a salt knife. i know there's a lot that goes into all of that. i just wish i knew if they were working toward that end. and i know they don't owe any of us that answer, but it would be nice to know if i should give up hope or not.

The way I see it is if the Caribbean can be done in G10/LC then so can other models. Golden can get LC or we wouldn't have the Native Salt. Seems to me the only logical next step is a Military Salt.
also, this. i hope we don't only see it come in linerless lw frcp models. if they did a manix backlock in g10 (even though it didn't have liners and i never bought that knife because it was too thick), i would buy one immediately. if they did a lil native g10 with a comp lock in lc200n, it would be amazing.
