Spyderco Ronin 1

I think I have 5 of them, but if there was a sprint run I would buy a few more. It would be great to have one as a user.

They're going for big bucks on EBay when you can find one.

G-10 and LC200N? ****.

Not long ago, a dealer approached Spyderco with a request to do an Exclusive run of the first-gen Ronin. Unfortunately, the quote from the original Japanese maker was quite expensive and beyond what the market would comfortably bear, so it never went anywhere.

Custom knifemaker Mickey Yurco does an excellent "take" on the original Ronin with shorter handle scales and a nice radius on the index-finger choil. This, the more gradual plunge at the shoulder of the grind, and his stellar Kydex work also make the sheath retention far better than the original.
