So I have a new BBS K390 PM2 coming in the mail today I'm super excited about!

I'll be sure to post some pics in here when I get it.

This will be my first experience with K390. Who else got one of these K390 PM2's? Who has a K390 steel experience they'd like to share?

Can't say a bad thing about K390 aside from the corrosion resistance. It's a fantastic steel.

If they run the Millie in it, I may give the model another shot. I've been tempted to get another lately, miss having one around.

Same! Especially if they do ranger green with dlc coating.

Did someone say ranger green and dlc?

That was a fast blade/scale change.

I love the way green handles and black blades go together.

I've long though about swapping a black Pacific Salt blade into a yellow handle that's been dyed green. Guess I should order a yellow Pacific Salt before they're gone...

Looks just like the OD Green model. Same steel too.

It does. That S30V blade always gets the left overs. My main goal was to get a carbon fiber handle on that K390 blade, but my throw a way turned out pretty good.

Just got mine in the mail today. First time working with K390. Based off the factory grind it is very sharp. Action out of the box was a little stiff. I disassembled it and applied some Flitz to prevent rusting and adjusted the action.

Comparing it to my BBS Elmax PM2 the scales are exactly the same color. Back then it was called “foilage green”. As an Army guy “Ranger Green” and foilage green are actual colors with specific shades. I was sort of hoping for a darker green color but I’m still happy with it, overall.

Will there also a Para 3 version coming? Would be an instant buy for me.

I'll be getting mine in a day or 2.

Does anyone know if razor edge knives still offers DLC coating services?

I'm hoping to reignite my love for the pm2. This model may get aftermarket scales and DLC coating one day. I just want to improve ergos, minimize rust and make it my own. Plus, although I like the foliage green handles I'm also not completely in love with them. May go titanium. Definitely something rounded off like the Shaman.

Mine arrived today and doesn't disappoint. Great complement to it's bigger and smaller siblings.

PM2s are easy to get, those bandanas are hard to find!
