I'm ok with lottery for all sprints. Beats the heck out of reading all the negative comments and such.
Makes the knife even more special cause you kinda won it, even though you had to come out of pocket.

DLT got this to me quick. As my first time handling a Shaman, I'm gonna have to get used to a couple things, and maybe find a deep carry clip, but these scales are simply amazing.

I am pleased to announce that there was a special meeting for management on this thread and they decided to make another run of brown canvas Micarta Shamans. We'll use a different, but complimentary steel and make twice as many as the first sprint.

Whoa! How awesome is this! Thanks Sal, I am consistently impressed with you and your company/team. I’ve never seen another company be as involved or care about their enthusiast base this much.

Well that is great news.
Have not tried the shaman yet but the micarta is a nice compliment and I look forward to getting one of either run. Thanks spyderco team!

Great news for all Sal! :D

Hmmm....3V?? 4V?? PD-1??? I'm in for any of those!

I hope that the previously mentioned OD Green Cruwear and Denim Blue TBD (K390 or 4V?) Shaman's are still in the works as well!

I see what you did there

Very wise business decision.

I think that's 1 of the reasons we all love SPYDERCO...they listen

Sal,
BTW, I started this thread and I still don't have a Shaman Cru-wear yet !
I do have three of the originals tho.
I'll be keeping an eye out.

They're both tool steels but their compositions are different. Rex 45 is pretty close to HAP40

If I had to guess they're going to use PD1

Yay! Thanks Sal... With such high USA demand, it is practically impossible to snag one from Aus with the time difference. I always seem to be 20 hours late for the party. :o
