Gosh, these events sound like so much fun, I'd like to go just to look at knives. Sadly the bank account doesn't allow for the airfare, hotel etc (to say nothing of the Biblical level of temptation I'd feel during the thing itself lol). One day when I've earned "wahn milllllion dollahs" haha

Thanks for clarifying Taz. Hopefully it's a great event free of hoarders and line cutters.

We should have name tags for forumites. I've met a couple people, but I'm sure there are a number of us in the room at the same time.

I won't be able to attend, but thought the same thing. I'd wear a sticker with my username on it and hope a member would come and say hello...or say I think your a jerk :eek:

I wore my Forum Spyder Pendant that displays my username during last years sale. I saw a few others wearing theirs, I'll have mine on again this year.

Yep, I wore mine last year, and unless I have a senior moment while I'm loading up, I'll be wearing it again.

I’ll be going this year. My goal will be to get several serrated knives, particularly the caribbean leaf, native salt, and dragonfly salt, to test out serrations without breaking the bank. Definitely looking forwards to it! :D

Where did those come from?

Spyderco. Sal had them made up last year for Blade Show. I didn't make Blade, but I bought one anyway for the Seconds Sale

Yep, Sal and the Spyderco crew offered them here on the forums last April. It was initially just going to be exclusive merch for those attending BLADE Show, but was expanded to members of the forum soon after. More information can be found here - viewtopic.php?f=2&t=79001
