Never tried to take pictures of “knife usage” while out like this... no promises of anything great but I’ll try! I’m having fun wondering what y’all will pick for me to take.

I don't see the Caribbean anywhere.
That would be because I don’t own a Caribbean.
/s

I voted for the Pac Salt SE.

But it's still not the right choice ;)

... I just couldn't trust that thin Millie tip in that scenario.
Though I have to be fair: The tip on mine never took any damage at all (bur then I rarely ever carry my Millie)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

The only time I had an issue with the tip on a mili was when it took a direct hit from about 10 feet into concrete. Just the very tip/point was damaged. Nothing serious and nothing a couldn’t fix with a diafold very quickly if it were to happen out there.

Keep em coming!

I’m curious to know what Sal would vote for

Not knowing what you are doing makes it a little tough, but I'm voting Military for the do it all aspect.

I chose the PE Pacific Salt. Want to know how many sharpenings you have to do in the four days.
In 4 days probably none. I wouldn't even take the sharpener. PE H1 is km (miles) ahead of SAK steel and even on 10 days trips I've never needed to sharpen any SAK.
Of course it depends on what you're doing, but if you need to sharpen a big knife like a Pacific after 4 days it means you're doing something wrong :p

That’s because I’m not 100% sure what I myself will be doing

My vote was for the Military. For what you're doing, it sounds like a big blade might be more versatile, handling large and small tasks more efficiently than a smaller blade. The toughness of the knife should work well for you. Good luck and have fun. I'll be looking for pictures when you return.

I voted Endura. I just did a 5 day, 350 mile bike camping trip and the only knife I took was a HAP40 Delica. It was plenty of knife for anything I needed to do.

It was a great time. I rode from Pittsburgh to Washington DC on the GAP and C&O trails the first week of September.

Here's a shot from an old RR bridge I crossed.

Really none of the above.

I would choose the Province as that's what it's made (designed) for.

Military!

I don’t have Pacific Salt, and Endura, although a nice knife, does not have the ergonomics and the comfortable grip of the Military.

Not sure who mentioned it, but I don’t see how the Endura’s tip is more robust than the one on the Military?

I own both, the tip on the endura is not as acute as it is on the military

The Endura tip definitely IS more robust than the Millies, just by geometry (and a bit also cause VG10 might be tougher than S30V??)
Sal said the "drop" on the tip of the Endura 4 is meant to make the tip sturdier (and, yes, a bit less acute, but still way enough so in my use).

Personally I wouldn’t take a folder but from the options above I’d take a freshly sharpened Military.

S30V is tougher than it’s given credit and the fine tip is an asset, far from a liability and not made of glass. ;)

I voted for the manix because that's the only one I don't know much about.
