The pinned construction.
I don't mind pinned knives, but this knife is a bad combination of pinned construction, a lock that can easily trap dirt and is hard to fully clean out, and a lock that originally (the clear cages) had a high probability of breaking.

With the cage made out of a sturdier plastic my concerns are much less. But I do prefer the non-lightweight Manix 2. The lightweight does have a less aggressive jimping though, that is nice.
