Yesterday was a great day!

Yesterday was a great day. A while ago I reported, on this forum, that I lost my Tim Wegner and that I looked at all the places that I thought that I been that day. I ran in to a guy that I worked with about that time and he asked if I lost my knife and I said I did, he happen to find it in the grass by were I parked about a week after my crew and I left the site. He said that he remembered how good the knife looked. I was so glad I gave him a Navigator that I got from SMKW.

I attribute this to the uniqueness of the knife. If it had been a “run of the mill” knife nobody remember whose it was. But then again if it had been a “run of the mill” knife would I have cared.

ftkinney,

Congratulations on regaining the Wegner and good show on showing your appreciation. Give a man a Navigator and he shall spread the Gospel of the Spyder willingly! <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> <{{>< <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

It's always fun to get a "New" knife, isn't it? <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Nice of you to pass along a Nav as reward, also. <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>s make friends for life!

By the time you read this, you'll have already read it.

Hi FTK. Good story.

I attribute this to the honesty and integrity of the finder and the generosity of the owner (karma).

I’m extremely glad to have my knife back, used it all day. I’m especially glad to have this knife back as it was my first Spyderco and after asking a few questions on this forum about what knife I might use a poster called Sal suggested this one, at that time I had no idea of who that was, but from reading other posts he seemed quite knowledgeable at that point I ordered one and then a Harpy and then a Bob Lum etc. . .

Although I like owning Spyderco, who doesn’t it is nice to give one away once in awhile. I gave my groomsmen all Spydercards and most of my family numerous smaller Spydercos at different times. A designer I work with a quite frequently a SS Dragonfly because of it’s beauty, I gave a friend of mine that is guide in Mexico a Wegner and another that really enjoys fishing a Mini-Dyad, you could push that as a great tackle box knife. Thin flat grind on one blade and serrated on the other not too pricey, great.
