Techno 2 Detent

#1

Post by Pjake »

Last week I picked up a Techno 2 from a dealer. Had a Techno several years ago but sold it (blade thickness). I noticed to my surprise that the detent on the 2 is almost non existent. When closing, I have to essentially push the blade all the way. Conversely, I can, with a little effort... flick my wrist and have the blade fully deploy to the open position. Is that “normal”? I know that was clearly not the case with the original.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

edited a bit...deployment (flick does take some effort)...Not worried about close at all

Sounds defective to me. I’d send it back.
