Don’t want a second of anything. The ones that I do have 2: k390 urban, super blue caly jr. and Q ball. Mostly, I don’t think I will need 2 as spyderco always has something cool around the corner.

There have been a bunch I wanted two of and some I did get a second. The fact is the first ones have never worn enough to be retired and the second collects dust or eventually gets sold. Even my first Spyderco from 1992 is still with me and very carry able. They just don't wear out easy. They can be broken or lost I suppose but wear out? I haven't seen it yet.

I "only" lost two so far fortunately (a blue handled Endura and a Stretch 1), but it happens... and hurts.

I had this exact emotion many years back, it took me quite a bit of trouble tracking down a second Lil' Temp back then. Nowadays, I pay close attention to which knives I really like and make sure I get a spare. Lil' Temps are still well stocked in my collection, as are Chinese Folders and Stretches!

Knifecenter has done repeat runs of cruwear pm2s and para3s, haven’t they? Sometimes the cruwear options can be had reasonably on epay. I scored a very nice Millie in cruwear that had dyed scales but was otherwise very nice. I’ve put more wear on it than it came with.

The nuttiest pricing on the secondary market seems reserved for rex45, likely because so far ONLY 3 models have been released in that steel. Still kicking myself for not ordering the Millie to complete the family.

Rex 45 Milli can be found at Blades Canada. Actually a lot of the models folks are looking for are available there. I guess being a Canadian retailer they get their stock a few weeks after everyone else so they don’t get sold during the frenzy and a few stick around. I’ve ordered from them a number of times.

My regret is the Lil'Temp. Had a chance to rectify it later too, but passed. Just can't justify the Sebenza level secondary prices on them now.

If you’re talking about the lilTemp3, available at Blades Canada. I sound like I work for them, lol! But really folks, they’ve got a lot of harder to find knives there.

It’s too much of a secret apparently, they seem to have a lot of knives folks are looking for. I’ve bought from them before and likely will again. None of the knives mentioned are one I’m interested in, so might as well help boost business so they’ll still be around the next time I am lookin for a new knife!

I've got a Lil' Temp 3. I was talking about the original Lil' Temp.

I used to buy 2 of a lot of models - but I realized it's not like I'm going to wear any out any time soon...

So I follow SF Native's mantra of looking ahead.

"Oh, I need 2 of these in case I lose one". Eh, I'm if someone had to restart their collection, they'd be happy with just one catalog year of models, if that's all they could choose from

I have never bought two, nor am I planning on buying any in the fugure. But if there was one, it would be this Military. Just so I could do a blade swap. I love the Ti/CF combo. And the lock is amazing.

I was scrolling through Hand-tools website for discontinued Spydercos, and there are quite a few available there. A few Native 5 40th Anniversary models, lots of Centofante Memorys, and the backlock Manix2 to name a few. A good option to fulfill those wishes, and reverse those regrets.

Just purchased a back-up Stretch 1 in ZDP-189, one of my favorite knives and steel alloys.
