Has anyone seen the hrc numbers for this 4v Shaman?
I am assuming it is in the 64-65 hrc range based on reports from the Para 3 4v.

Lol, indeed it is!
I was afraid that this one would be difficult to get feedback from testing data and use due to the limited availability.

Just yesterday, nothing major. But cut up a bit of the thicker, double walled cardboard and some high psi rubber tubing. Surprised how easily it glided through all of this, even with the DLC and has been used for standard warehouse duties 3 other days without any touch ups. Still cutting paper with ease and no hang ups. This monster just begs to be used :D

Oh yeah, that tough rubber housing is nothing for the Shaman, despite some people seeing it as weak at slicing. Does it have a Chicago fitting at the end?

I was very impressed with how easy it was. Didn't have to use much pressure at all. No fittings on the tubing at this point. We have various spools and sizes, ranging from 100ft to 500ft in length...I could cut alllll day haha.

I used mine last Sunday to cut up several boxes I had in the garage. I usually use a PM2 or Manix 2 when I have a lot to cut. The Shaman seemed well-suited for this so I went for it. It worked beautifully. Didn't really need to be touched up afterward but I gave it some strokes on the Sharpmaker anyway. 4V got sticky sharp pretty easily.

It really is an awesome knife. I haven't touched mine up just yet but nice to know it will be easy! For the thickness of the blade, and dlc...slices just fine for my uses!! Not like I'm going to be slicing tomatoes with it haha...though it probably could.

I just measured mine behind the edge and it's .024"under the logo and .0265 about 1/2" from the tip. Not the thinnest BTE but about the same as a PM2 and a lot of other models I have. Blade stock thickness is listed as .150" but I get .145" which is the same as I get for the PM2s I have. The big difference is that the PM2 tapers much sooner. Regardless it slices through cardboard fine. I ordered a new bike last week and it came in a big box. I think I'll be having a cut-off between the Shaman and PM2 Cruwear this weekend.

Definitely report back to this thread. Very interested in the results, especially from two very sought after steels. Both with the factory grind?

Incredible!! Those people are disgusting, especially those that don't even have the best offer option...which usually isn't much less than their asking price anyways.

Having this one is why I'm not really sweating the Cruwear model. I don't see anything that knife will do for me that this one won't.

That is just wow. Those are American prices to. Add about another $100 for us canadians.

I have the dlc Shaman s30v, basic version. I love it though, and because I have that one I'm not really worried about another right now. I supported the 'plain jane' version so everyone else can enjoy the sprints. At $300 for the one I've got. Its just really high. I think it's worth it though so dont get me wrong, just up there. I hope everyone who wants one gets one.

Wow.....
If you really want one, watch BF. They will surface for a reasonable price occasionally. I bought one from a great guy on this board off BF to hedge against the Cru-Shaman. I am glad that I did. Golden absolutely killed the F&F on this thing. I am glad to hear all of the great reports. I am going to use the heck out of it this weekend.
Do right always. It will give you satisfaction in life.

Thanks man, all I really have are the basic models. I hope y'all dont mind if I post them. I love the designs as much as the materials.
