FFG K390 Ladybug? Yes!

Lamination lines? Preferably not, but I don't hate them.

I'm looking forward to seeing the FRN color. I'm not a huge FRN fan, but I do like some of the colors, especially blue variations and BRG. IIRC my standard Endura Emerson has a sort of blueblack color which is just subtly different from the standard black. And the more I think about it, the more I want the K390 Endura, solid or laminated, which will be a great little baby LtWt Police 4 substitute, though regrettably choilless.
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod

I hope for non laminated. I don’t mind laminated steels and think the tech is cool, but on these I hope for no lamination.

After using my new PM2 a bit, the Seki run can't come soon enough! :spyder: It's going to be a big hit on my wallet, but I'm hoping to secure all of them.

I keep waffling, but right now I want the Endura, Endela, and a Wharnie Dragonfly.

Is the Police 4 lightweight part of the family now?

Also please, please tell me that the waved endura will get K390 too. I think it’s time the waves got some steel upgrades!

I'll take a K390 Dragonfly. One with a serrated edge would be a first day buy. Not really wanting gray though.

When will the P4LW K390 be available? I don’t want to buy any knives now for fear the K390’s will start showing up.

And you wanna talk about a smoooooth pivot.

I may wait on the aftermarket DLC coating. I think I may use this, antique the brass, then one day thin out the blade some before having it coated. We'll see.

I'm super excited for a delica and dragonfly. K390 is a great steel

Could you elaborate a little more on this?

When you say “standard sharpmaker”, do you mean the medium & fine rods that come with it?

I’d imagine it would respond well the the diamond/cbn rods, but I’ve been wondering how it would jive with alumina ceramic, and how much of a chore it would be.
