Post by BrandonFR »

Hi everyone! Excited to announce registration for the 2019 Spyderco Taipei Meet is now open! Please see below for a link to the registration form, as well as all of the event details.

WHAT IS IT?

The Spyderco Taipei Meet is a day for knife enthusiasts to gather for an interactive discussion about Spyderco, the knives, the company, and about general knife making, model trends and manufacturing updates.

During the Meet, Eric Glesser will be showing Spyderco prototypes and concept model knives for everyone to handle, evaluate and provide their feedback and input. We encourage participation and welcome any comments and suggestions!

Spyderco will provide a complimentary mid-day lunch and a post-Meet Happy Hour. Come socialize, talk about knives with other enthusiasts, and try your luck at winning amazing Spyderco prizes.

This needs to be internet accessible so we can attend.

I’m pretty familiar with that area from when I lived in Taipei.

Hoping all the attendees have a great time. I’d be curious to know if most of the attendees end up being Taiwanese or foreign ex-pats.

Hopefully there will at least be some clips from it on their youtube channel.

I think there were very few U.S. ex-pats atttending last year. Too busy looking at knives to meet everyone. It was a great time. Hopefully, I will be going this year, too.

Yeah, Sal mentioned a while ago on Oz Bladeforums, that the distributors down here are always asking for an Aussie meet.

Maybe come down here in our summer and get out of a cold US winter? Depending on their plans with Sage Marine, they could double up with a boat show - I'd love to be able to get one of those Sagesport 160s, and they'd be very popular here and in NZ.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing the reports on the Taipei meet.
