Hi there everyone, I'm still relatively new to this forum and the knife world in general so apologies if this has been asked/answered before here or somewhere else: is there a way to find out if some of the popular recent models that have been out of stock for a while are undergoing CQI updates or simply being restocked as-is?
I ask because I had recently been about to purchase a Chaparral LW on the secondary market before learning the newest batch had the pocket clip setting improved and hence opted for one of those, and now I'm wondering if this will be the case with other specific models like the Ikuchi, Smock, or Kapara.
Is there anything like the upcoming/released list but for CQI improvements? I don't know how feasible it would be to have one but I think it would be great to know, at least for out-of-stock items (I do realize they may not want to discourage people from buying in-stock items by waiting for CQI versions).
