If you ask me, KC should be a little ballsier and go away from boring black G10. But other than that, it's gonna be a super knife!!

One of my all time favorite models PLUS one of my all time favorite steels = HARD PASS???

Yep, smooth G10 is a deal breaker for me. Peel Ply G10, even in black, and I am all over this and the Cruwear Manix they dropped last month.

Had the smooth Green G10 S90V Native and sold it pretty quick.

You could try different scales or do a blade swap and sell the smooth scales?

Ordered the Delica. Wish I would have waited a day  It’s OK. There will be other Natives... one of these days. My M4 is treating me right these days.

Had the smooth S90V, and gave it away.

The smooth G10 on the Manix is actually awesome. When I bought mine, I just assumed that I would get some aftermarket scales. Nope, I love the way the smooth grips feel with the spot-on ergos of the Manix in my hand. Feels almost perfect. Plus it makes getting the knife in and out of your pocket easier.

With that said, I will be skipping this one.

Really wish I didn't order a set of scales for my Manix version of this knife...I'm yet to own a Native 5, and this one would be perfect! Trying to be a bit more diligent on my knife spending...this is a very hard pass for me :(

Thanks for looking out for me.

Man, it has been a speedy month or two. I guess it is time to thin the herd a little. :(

$150 is an awfully steep price for a Native, especially compared to the $130 for the bigger Manix 2. Sure, they say the backlock is more difficult (i.e. expensive) to make, but a backlock is NOT worth more to me.

I still like it and hope it sells out quickly before I give in to temptation. It really is a bummer, so I think I'll stick with my smooth green S90V Native.

It's the same price as a "base model" black g10 / S30v variant. I think the price is reasonable.

Thanks for the reality check. I didn't realize that the price was the same, but it's still too pricey for me for what we get.
