It looks a little skinny to me, to be a Lil Native...could it possibly be a PM2??

If it indeed is a Lil Native, it will be my 1st! If I'm able to get one...

I’m in for whatever steel on this one. They have the Delica in hap40 but that is made in Japan, and the Lil Native is made in Golden like the Para 3.

Are y’all sure it’s a Lil Native and not a Shaman though?
Looks like a flat scale not a contoured scale

Indeed. That would rule out Native and Lil Native, right? Too bad... Lil Native in 4V would be another must-try to-get...

The curves seem to match the Lil Native and not my Para3, PM, or Shaman. Looks to be comp lock and not a back lock, too bad.

Que?
The Natives have contoured scales, don't they? The pic seems to show a flat scale, like you said. So it can't be any of the Natives. Or am I wrong?

Saw this update on the St. Nicks Knives instagram page... Looks like a compression lock Lil Native with Red G10 to me!!

Image

It's definitely a Lil Native Comp Lock (look at the contours vs. the black one below), and I would be shocked if it wasn't another Red G10 / DLC 4V combo. I think they know they have a good thing going with that combo and I hope they ride it out through all the popular Golden models the way that BHQ has done with their Jade M4. This combo would make for an amazing Manix XL, Shaman, Native, Military, SE Dodo, etc! Some lightweights in Red FRN with DLC 4V like the Native LW and Manix LW would be awesome as well.

And with Seki using steels like Cruwear, S30V, M390 etc, they could possibly use V4E (if not 4V) in models like the Delica, Endura, and Dragonfly with Red FRN.

Keep em coming St Nicks! :) I'll be first in line for the Lil Native!

The g10 natives and lil natives have flat scales. I wish they had contoured scales that would be cool

+10 to this. All of it.

Can't wait for a Manix in this pattern. And a Manix XL. And a Military.

This is possibly my favorite color combo. It just looks excellent. And 4v is an INCREDIBLE steel that spyderco sees to do extremely well. I'm looking forward to more models like this. Crimson blood red and DLC 4V!!! Bring it on!

This.

I find comp locks really awkward and fiddly on a knife as small as the little native and would've greatly prefer the backlock model. Oh well, they can't all be for me. I'm sure it will sell out quickly.

Yeah, only the fluted Ti and CF Natives are contoured. The contoured scales are really nice but they don't feel that much different in my hand then the flat ones.

So is it DEFINITELY a Lil Native?

Random request...anybody that currently owns an Urban and Lil Native, if not much trouble, could you possibly post a couple comparison pics?

I carry a comp lock lil native every day for almost 2 years so i am 99.9 percent sure. Nothing else is that shape IMO. Unless they want to get real crazy and release the slipjoint lil native as their exclusive

Yep, that shape is a dead giveaway. I don't have one yet but I knew it was a Lil' Native when I first saw the pic
