What a cute little nice knife! Congratulation on the anniversary!

Technical question. It looks like this knife doesnt have stop pin and the whole backspacer act as a stop pin. Am I right or wrong?

There is a stop pin. It is covered over by the beautifully tooled back strap. All fit seamlessly together.

I would like to urged Spyderco to make an urban light weight or something in a slip joint with polish G10 and inlays that’s nice looking like this so that folks over in the UK can also have something equally gorgeous.

One thing about the one eyed Jack though is that it is a very heavy knife fir its size. All of that finally worked steel blackstrap and liners and the full steel bolsters adds up to weight. But, wow is it gorgeous! I wonder what else like this Spyderco could pull off?

Judging the from the One Eyed Jack, I think the Sun & Moon Chaparral is going to another really impressive piece!

I hope you’re right about that. I would like to see them do more with Inlays and fancier upgrades. One eyed Jack is really superb and did not set me back a car payment or a house payment in order to get it. I like that.

This is an amazing knife, to be sure. Pictures do not do justice to it.

If I were making it I would choose a backlock and put jimping on the bottom of the bolsters. But it is as nice as any custom is realistically likely to be (I’ve seen a few) without spending a huge amount of cash. I’m amazed at the inlays. They seem to be stamped, they are so perfect. The tooling on the liners and blackstrap is very nice. This is Spyderco Taichung at its best.
That's the only reason I never bought one. If it were a Backlock, it would be mine!

After seeing this in person I would not let a lot stop me from buying it. Pictures just cannot do this knife justice. This is going to be a gentleman’s folder and not hard use in any case.
