Sal, Kristi, and everyone else at Spyderco and all of you on the forum: I want to thank you sincerely for making this a great discussion and information forum. It is literally the best one I have ever seen and interacted with. Thank you!

Better than any other knife forum, by far.

Most everyone here keeps everything civil too. It's probably one of the friendliest forums on the interwebs. I'm not sure if it's just the way the members are or if the moderators play a large role in that, but I appreciate it either way. Thanks, everyone.

I'm a member of about 7 forums total. But in the past 6 months the only knife forums I visit are here in Spyderville and BLADEFORUMS. I even lost my password the other day for the Straight Razor Forum I was on for a while. They have some interesting sharpening info from time to time. But if I don't hit Spyderville at least twice a week ( even when I'm very busy) I feel like my life has a void in it.
I just wish some of the old guys and girls would come back. The group we had from 2005 to 2009 was an around the clock party
For some strange reason it seems like this place has a way of eliminating trolls pretty quickly>> that sure isn't the case on the other forums I'm a member of

It is a great place. The only other forum I have been on with such a positive all around attitude is "hammock forums". Some of the online forums can get downright nasty. I have to keep close watch on myself since I can sometimes edge towards being a wise a** if I'm not careful. As long as I constantly remind myself that I don't know much of anything I am OK, I hope.

A couple of forums have come and gone for me, but I can't imagine my daily routine without the Spyderco forum :)
Great discussions, friendly people, amazing pictures, and the best moderators around! :D

I am thankful as well. I've learned so much about steel and knives and still feel I haven't dented what I can glean from the nice folks here. Quite a diverse forum as well!

Couldn't agree more with what everyone has said. I feel especially lucky, since it was around this time last year that I let my vice (alcohol) get the best of me and was having some issues at home and work and would senselessly take out my frustrations on some of the better members we have here. Led to a few warnings and eventually being banned.

I realized all the mistakes I had been making, problems I had been causing and turned myself around, knowing things weren't going to turn out well. I eventually reached out to Kristi and got another shot here, which probably doesn't happen often so I am extremely grateful for that! During my time away, I realized how much I really valued this forum and so many of our members here. Almost feels like an extended family!

I would also like to thank the mods for running this great place and hosting the yearly calendar contest. :) And Sal for paying attention to it and commenting here as often as he does, and answering questions about knives sometimes. And all of you guys for the knowledge and pretty photos you share.

It's an awesome part of my life. Thank you everyone. :D
