Spyderco catalogs website

#1

Post by Ted »

Someone asked me if I still had the old Spyderco catalogs site I made a long long time ago, since the old links were down.
So, I put it online again. It got lost while moving the Spydiewiki to Spyderco.

https://catalogs.z6.web.core.windows.net

Newer catalogs can be downloaded from the Spyderco website here: https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/download.php

Enjoy :)

Wow, thank you! That's an unexpected gift.
Though I have been carrying and using Spydercos for quite some time now, I became interested in their history and background only much later. Wasn't even aware of till right now that these old catalogues are still to be seen online... :)

Thanks Ted. Many of the older catalogs are rare. That page is a major resource, especially to newer enthusiasts. It's a shame it got lost in the Spyderwiki move, glad you brought it back.

Ted,

Thank you for responding and acting so quickly, I was only hoping to get the three years I thought I was missing (turned out to be more). But you went way above and beyond.

Posting it for all to have access was very generous indeed, and another reason why I enjoy this forum and it's members.

Again thank you (and the others who contributed) for taking the time to preserve this bit of Spydie history. It's much appreciated. :D

@SAL , Quick Question?

I reached out to a fellow forumite to get his digitized PDF MSRP price sheets, for the years between 92 and 2009.
With those secured now, I wanted to ask for your blessing to have TED post these on his new Catalog
Page. The Deacon wisely cautioned and recommended we get your blessing. Our intention is to simply provide this information for people doing research on old models.

Whaddaya think?

Sanctified bovine! What a great resource. This needs to be permanently preserved somehow.

There are knives listed I never knew existed or dreamed about, in these catalogues.

This must be where I got file of old catalogs that I have on my PC. Thanks for posting these again. They're great reference material.
