I think it's safe to say we won't be getting much info about upcoming models anymore.

Unless it's word of mouth from people who have seen the prototypes or casual bombshells from Sal, it seems like we won't get much more info until it's officially shown in the reveal catalogs.

Right now we know the Lil Chokwe is -
• about 3.25" blade
• compression lock
• carbon fiber scales
• wire clip
• a stainless, easy to sharpen, good edge holding steel

The Chokwe might just be my favorite knife in the whole collection. The lil' will be a day-one pickup for me.

Agreed - I ended up trading away my existing Chokwe knowing a comp lock version is coming soon. CQI!

This isn't a result of CQI, its a completely new design. ;)

I'm biased - I like the comp lock so much that I think it's CQI on liner and frame locks :D

It's an interesting design that had been refined for hundreds of years in Zambia. It's a simple "stick" handle, but it works very well and it's not as simple as it looks to be.

Hey Sal
Just curious but when I read up on the description of the Chokwe it mentioned a charity. Is this something we can expect for this new model?

Kristi is working on that. We used to use a charity for aids in Africa.

That's great news. If that's the case I may have to trim my collection to get one when it comes out.

Wow that's fantastic! If you're supporting a charitable cause that definitely takes this one from a maybe to a must buy, for me at least. Thanks for all the good work y'all do, Sal.
