Personally I'd prefer the Compression-lock over the Frame-lock of the original. The prototype I handled was outstanding. Just with how the prices have been getting higher I'd love to see this one at the lower end $100 range. Understand that where it's produced will dictate steel choice. Still I'd rather see VG-10 or CTS-BD1N than upper end steels to keep the price down. I'm also good with the wireclip. My Caly 3 has one and I like how it carries. Blade shape is still the cool Seax-like looking blade.
Do we know if the Lil Chokwe is going to be a production model? Or is it going to be a Flash Batch, similar to the Lil Nilakka?T_MAC686 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 3:08 pm
I’m with you on this one- VG-10 and BD1N are totally fine for EDC. Start with these, and then make sprints for the AFI’s with the more exotic steels.
