Was just going to post about getting my first notification from the app and it was a very welcome one!

I'm pretty excited for the Parata! :D I'll definitely be picking one up.

haha I thought it was just my settings but I guess they're still working out some kinks! :D

After the fifth or so identical notifications, I simply disabled notifications for the Spyderco app. I'll turn notifications on again after the next app update.

They just really REALLY want you to buy a Parata lol

I actually didn’t mind the half dozen notifications, it was much better news than 98% of all the other notifications I get on a daily basis.

I would agree with Dazen. It was quite refreshing to get a notification about a knife rather than all the junk I usually get. Great job Spyderco!!

They probably felt it was necessary based on the number of questions on the forum about when the Parata would ship :p
