My first time trying S30V, and I just love love love this all black PM2 there’s just something about it, that pictures cannot convey across a screen. “ you’ve just gotta hold it to understand” I was an S110V junkie previously, well those are long gone.

I’ve got a Microtech Halo hellhound, with apocalyptic finish coming next week :D

Sell it and delete all pictures of it. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Had one just like this once. I've never been cut so many times by one single knife. It was possessed.

Don't listen to the nay sayers!

Spyderco's S30V takes a lot of beating in a pocket knife. :)

That was my first :spyder: , many moons ago. The OG trigger for this hobby.
The reason I have all the knives today.

It was the first one, and I wish I kept it. But once I got couple of sprints/exclusives of this model, I had to share the joy and gave it to a friend.

Congratulations on the knife...I love the "blackout " look also. I need to pick this PM2 and P3 up eventually, Even though I have tons of sprints /exclusives of both models.
Spydercos S30V has blown me away performance wise cutting heavy double walled cardboard with my Lil Native.

That was my first PM2. Also my first PM2 to sell. It was well loved but I have the OD green/DLC and some other sprints. So I figured I'd pass it on to someone else to enjoy.

This is my first DLC knife ever. So I really want to get more like this. M4 PM2 especially, maybe a carbon shaman dlc.

I honestly just prefer a DLC blade now. It looks better with wear than satin does

I never got onboard with the blacked out look, but I gotta admit, it's not half bad on the PM2 platform. Like a void in the cosmos, in the shape of a Spyderco...

DLC is not nearly appreciated as much as it should be. TKO83SPY changed my thinking on this. A wee bit of mineral oil and some flitz in the tube an good as new. Advice should come in the box OI!

Good to see you back OP, enjoyed your sharpening threads and then wondered where the heck you went!

Carrying this guy today. My first of at one time, 3 PM2's (2nd Spyderco knife I ever owned)... Plain jane S30V, still one of my favorite knives that I've ever had and will never sell. Currently my only PM2. A lot of people don't seem to like S30V or DLC...gimme em both! :D
