Ok this is pretty cool. Bladeswelove on Instagram has released a great looking para 2 mod that allows you to release the lock like on the Smock.

Interesting. I'd rather Spyderco cqi that into the model at a better price.

Can already imagine some people arguing this new lock release will make it faster than a back lock. :rolleyes:

If someone buys this, hopefully they will disassemble, snap close-ups, and post.

Looks like it can be home brewed. Just a question of how easily.

I've ordered multiple items through them off of eBay. Always shipped really fast, and quick to respond when needed. Not sure about this though...

Not really if this lock idea really blows you away but I personally would take a different steel over a different lock operation, especially if this ends up being pricy.
