The "Tough Solar" feature makes alot of sense for the G-Shock series. Oftentimes, the water-tight seal is compromised whenever the watch back is opened to replace the battery.

Never really seriously looked at these Casio watches. Compared to the many wellknown traditional Swiss timekeepers, the Casio's always looked very cluttered and cheap to me. You open my eyes and I 'm about to dive into the world of digital and multi fuctional timekeepers. Will be fun to go shopping. First though, I have to get smart on these, where else as www. gshock .com do I go?

Hi Jurphaas! I'm not crazy about writing instruments though, through the years, I found Lamys and Cross Pens to be highly reliable in the field.. Yeah, the Casios are worth taking a second look at.. Oh yeah, going to the Bladeshow this year?

Thanks for the reply Samo! Will go after Casio's! No way to get to the Blade Show. Gaby and I did the SHOT Show in February and the IWA in March, we will do the Munich Custom Show in November and we are saving up for the next SHOT Show in Vegas 2004. See you there!
