So far, only the Manix 2 Lightweight models have had wire clips. Manix 2 models with g10 or carbon fiber do not have a wire clip.

I came here seeing if anyone knew a hypothetical release time for these so I appreciate the link!
I sold the smooth G10 PM2 I previously ordered from KC and regretted as soon as I dropped it off. The smooth G10 doesn't tear apart my jean pockets like peel ply does and I'm not looking to spend $300 on the shaman so this is perfect for me. I work as a Forester and I find that Cruwear doesn't rust near as easily as other tool steels in the woods.

I agree about the rust. Cruwear and Rex 45 have both surprised me on corrosion resistance, At least out west.

I ordered as well. I had been carrying my Para 3 in smooth G10 today, and it got me thinking wether or not this was available to purchase yet. Can’t pass up Cruwear for only $130, and I happen to really like the smooth G10. I just wish it was all black. I’m in the process of making my Para 3 hardware black(early stages :o ) , and it’s looking excellent with the smooth G10

Mine just arrived and it's just as one would expect, perfection! This is my first Manix 2 and I was surprised by how buttery smooth the action is; can do the spydy-flick easily. I like the smooth G10 scales on the Manix 2 more than I did on the PM2.

This is my first Manix 2 and I think the smooth G10 feels pretty good on this platform. Admittedly I have only had it out of the box for a few mins but with all the jimping on the liners it feels secure in my hand.

I ordered two, and KC shipped one and marked the other one as "back ordered". Is that there way of saying there is a limit of 1 per customer?

I ordered more than one and both were shipped. They seem to get several batches of their exclusives at 1-2 week intervals, so the second one will be along in a week or two.

Received mine today, ordered friday afternoon, was shipped monday. I have the PM2 in Cruwear/smooth g10 and I am a fan of the handle material, maybe its just me but i feel the G10 on this Manix 2 feels smoother than the PM2. (I don't have the PM2 with me to compare in hand). Anyway, great steel on a great platform, looking forward to carrying it at work tomorrow and getting it dirty.

The Manix is truly matte black. It has virtually no reflectiveness. Here's the comparison of the old smooth Native 5 to the new smooth Manix. I angled the shot to try to highlight the difference in reflectiveness at their most reflective in indirect sunlight:
