I hear ya on the scales. I was just lurking eBay..not many options out there besides some overpriced CF peel ply scales. I'm sure custom scales are quite expensive as well. Curious how much this knife will cost. Manix is typically cheaper than PM2... wasn't the PM2 around $155?steelcity16 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 7:07 pmIt is nice to see some Cruwear finally back in stock, but I am really disappointed with the smooth G10. Why do smooth? A Manix isn't a gentleman's knife. It is a work knife. I want something that won't slip when covered in oil, grease, water, blood, whatever. I know the Manix has a ton of jimping, but I still hate smooth scales enough not to buy it. This is the second Manix exclusive with a steel I REALLY wanted that I had to pass on due to smooth scales, the first being the 4V one from last year.
Had this been a Manix LW in Cruwear I would have probably bought four. Back to shilling my Native LW Cruwear thread with more memes I guess...

These are not leggos.
Thanks for the heads up! I didn't know they carried so many. I like those olive green honeycomb scales. Bet their pretty grippy as well. Now...waiting game, for the release date. I'll definitely keep these scales in mind.Spydergirl88 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 7:44 pmhttps://www.bladehq.com/?search=allen+putman+manix
