I got home just a little while ago. My broken wing makes things difficult to deal with and I’m having to learn how to do it all myself instead of having a nurse to come help me every five minutes. Life goes on. At least now I am surrounded by my Spydercos.

Ow, sorry to hear of your accident Doc. Well at least you had all the knife you needed in hospital.

I had to get a friend to bring in my Opinel No. 7, the last time I wound up in a hospital bed. These days I'd have asked for my HAP40 or ZDP-189 Dragonfly instead. Hey, at least shaving with a pocketknife gives you something to focus on!

So many things are difficult one-handed. Bought an electric razor since shaving wrong handed didn’t work so well. Other wrong handed activities held their own perils...

Thank you. I am better. I can see now and eye doc said all will be fine. The broken shoulder and fingers are painful and I am all drugged up. I talked doc into lowering pain meds. I’d rather be uncomfortable a bit than non functional.

But I´d suggest, stay drugged up for just a bit longer... you could blame new knife-orders (you gotta get that Endela!!) on that, should your wife ask :D
