Ditto on this question. I've been wanting to try one of these, but as per usual I've been waiting for a color other than black. Didn't know there were custom scales out there...

I think any custom scales for a standard DF will work. I was thinking of getting one of these and sending it to Luke at Cuscadi for some moon glow scales.

Makes sense! I guess I've just never thought about custom scales for any of my dragonflys before since I've always liked the colors and the stock lw frn on the ones I have.

Both!

They really should do the following in the Teal S30V combo

Dfly Wharnie
Delica Wharnie
Jester
re-run of the Teal PE FFG Delica, but in S30V this time

Got mine today.
Scary sharp, a strong tip. Love the blade shape.

Action is a bit stiff.

Course I really like pocket knives. Therefore this knife is at the top of my must buy list. If I had I’ve already bought so many in the last month or two I would have gotten one of these already.

I'm on a Dragonfly binge right now. This and the Emerson one are next up along with the SE H1 Salt. Then I will go back to impatient awaiting some TiCN exclusives/sprints and a Toxic Green LC200N Salt Dragonfly!

Hi everyone! New to the forums but not to Spyderco.

Up until recently I had a G10 DF, but I sold it and ordered a DF2 Wharncliffe. I couldn't resist that blade! Does anyone know if they'll come out with an S30V version in orange? As in this Delica: https://www.knifesilo.com/spyderco-deli ... -edge.html. A DF in this configuration would be my ideal knife. I seriously almost cancelled my DF2 order when I saw this Delica, but I love the size and shape of the DF too much. I just wish I could get it in that steel and color (not a big fan of the teal on the current S30V DF).

The Delica has been done in S30v before. I would not doubt it coming round again in the form of a DF.

I see liners. Did they come with the scales? Lack of liners is turning me off from several FRN Spydies. :(

I exchanged my first FRN Dragonfly for the G10 version because the handle was too light in the hand. I’ve thought about trying a blade swap, but I’m not sure the wharnie blade would have enough clearance between the blade tip and the back spacer in the G10 handle.

Like someone else said, a full serrated wharncliffe DF would be the bidness.

Got the DF bug, can't get enough of them. Not too keen on FRN so looking to do some micarta scales on them. Love the SS ones. The micarta one in this thread looks really good.
