First impressions.... I opened a box today!!! As always the fit, finish, centering, and function are flawless. The para 3 might be the goldilocks of the group. I am not a lanyard guy, especially on a pocket folder, so that doesn't really interest me. I'm not a "bigger knife" guy. The para 3 made it into the watch pocket with the clip and doesn't interfere with the S&W snubbie. Don't get me wrong, the p2 melts into my hand when open, but they definitely hit a sweet spot on the para3. It still fits the hand well and the shorter blade still is very capable. I won't be selling the p2, but I think the para3 will get a little more pocket time. In the winter when I have a sweatshirt, the S&W switches over to a glock and moves out on the belt in a holster, so the P2 will definitely get some attention. I still love my bench made 940, but the blade of the spydercos is much more functional. Thanks again for all the help guys. The knife porn of the manix and others is not helping my addiction. I swear you guys would take a 12 pack of beer to an AA meeting!
Oh good for you, we all hope your addiction relapses again and again lol. So did you get the 52100? If so, then yes I'm not surprised the F&F is flawless because those things are jewel-like, but then so are most Spydies  You know, I find the choked up grip on the Para3 to be very comfortable, almost rivaling the standard-grip ergos of the PM2. Do you find this as well?

The para3 is my bar none favorite. The grip is perfect for me.

I went with the 52100 P3. I like different steels. I have an edge pro sharpener that I said "cost way too much" until I learned how to use it. After learning how to sharpen knives to perfection, I have never looked back. I made a few roselli ultra high carbon blades into hunting knives that are truly fantastic. Now that I have drank the cool-aid I keep getting more and more curious about different steels. As I said in a previous post I have some benchmades that drew me into the high end knife world. Sadly I feel they are pricing themselves out of the market. I started looking elsewhere (outside of my local shop) and found spyderco. Now you guys have put me on sprint runs and exclusives that have opened new doors. I don't have enough posts to put up pics but I will do so when I get there. The mule team blades have my attention, but I am not big on full tang fixed blades. I have done a few, but the scales aren't as fun as a full handle. Again I can't thank the community enough for the warm welcome and your experience. It's pretty cool that Sal himself welcomed me in. You just don't get that connection with other companies. I'm sure there will be more. As of now I am off to play with the new toy!
