I like it! The original color scheme reminds me of yellow jackets... I hate yellow jackets.

Awesome! I'm inspired to do the same to mine. Thanks!

So much better. Does the dye make the black blacker too? That looks really neat.

David would you have a picture of the SM mod? Also do you prefer the lc200n over the H1?Evil D wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 1:41 pmIt's more around 35ish. I cut some grooves in the bottom of the Sharpmaker base so a rod will sit in the groove and be in the same place every time and it lowers the angle from 20 (the 40 inclusive slot) to about 17.5. On the 30 slots it hits the shoulder of the bevel so I have to drop down to the 40 to hit the edge and I wanted it as low as I could get it.

It's crude but it gets the job done.
I think I'm leaning towards LC at this point. It seems to be everything that H1 is but better. The only question is if it's as tough as H1 but I think for a folder it may be a moot point as it seems plenty tough enough.

I'm not sure what's going on with the black. I scrubbed the scales with a nail brush and Dawn after dying them but the black ovals in the center do seem a bit darker somehow.
