You guys,
The Dodo is fifty percent handle. If not more. It is the original “designed in the dark” knife. A Dodofly would be like putting snow tires on Sal’s sports car.

I'm always in support of more oddball models like this. I'm all for it! plus at the dragonfly's price-point it would likely convert more people to the church of weirdbladeshapesthatarehardtosharpen.
I would love to see this model come to fruition!

Also, they aren't actually hard to sharpen. If you have a Sharpmaker, it's a breeze on the corners.

I really hope this happens but, i think you would have been notified if they were going to use one of your ideas.

Maybe if they just call it a dragonfly with an s curve blade they could just keep you out of the loop... In which case, it could maybe happen in this reveal! :D

I think this Should have been in reveal 6, in between the green Salt models. I bought a dozen knives for xmas gifts when the M4 Dodo came out so i had to skip it. Now i have the no Dodo regrets.
The more i think about it the more i like this idea. It would be a primary carry for me with a larger knife in the back pocket. The inconspicuous box opening power of the Dodofly looks strong! :spyder:

I am still pining after one of these!

Adding the forward jimping would be gorram perfect! That actually somehow makes me even more excited for this prospect.

Dee,
The dodofly would be an entirely different animal.
I really don't think the dodofly could be a replacement for a dodo ( cause of those awesome ergos that come with the large handle), rather a fantastic back-up to a bigger standard blade.

Please! Let this be a thing!

I'm always surprised how much utility the forward jimping has, esp. on small blades like the Jester.

I agree. I am surprised it was never added to the original Dodo. I would love to see that on the next Dodo as a CQI.

If the Dodofly is ever produced, please make a version with the Emerson opener.

Quarterly bump for the Dodo-fly since it has been mentioned in a few threads.
