Any news on the sun and moon Chaparral? Sal maybe?

It looks perfectly designed already in the vid (link here once more) https://youtu.be/ScWvTKq ... e=youtu.be ). Was hoping to see it in the (otherwise very exciting!) new reveal...
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I am a big fan of the scale design. The dot goes really well with the spydihole aesthetically speaking imo. As far as I understood, its not part of this reveal but more a preview for what comes after that. I hope they will supply some EU distributors with those when released.

I hope so too!! Though this thing I would even order from the US, and not care too much for shipping costs, customs, tariffs... which is weird, cause this is a knife I really don´t NEED at all, since I have the very practicall FRN version already, and am MUCH more into larger folders anyway.

Really, the first knife ever I want for it´s cool design more than anything else. Totally untypical for me, I normally have a very practical approach...

I think the same way - trying to justify a new knife by the way I use it and avoiding duplicates which takes some discipline to execute.

Thinking of the Sun and Moon - I might do the wife trick...Buy it for her and use in secret
That way it won't officially count as another item I own and don't need.

I'm guessing it's gonna be delayed a quarter like the sage 5 lightweight was.

Unlike the Sage 5 LW, it hasn't been officially revealed yet. We have only seen photos and video of the prototype. Maybe we will see it in the "Reveal: Volume 4." :spyder:

Wonder if there will be a Reveal V4, 2020 catalog should be out in another month or so.

I don't think we will, unfortunately. The intro page in the Reveal V3 says "Welcome to the third and final "Reveal" of 2019!"

Hadn't seen that, but it seemed logical that the next batch of new models would be "revealed" in the 2020 catalog itself, since it will soon be out. Just hoping the Sun & Moon Chaparral shows up there. :)

Ooh, right, I'm sorry! For some reason I wasn't considering the main catalog a reveal. The release of the main catalog also went over my head, but that's right around the corner.

Well, now I'm hoping it appears in the 2020 Catalog as well.

I haven't owned a Chap and I am looking forward to this one. Based on the comments on this board I think the design will be too polarizing to stay in production for very long so I want to grab one while they're available.
