EDIT: In a previous thread, there were some concerns about the app needing to know your location to warn you about taking your knives to the airport (called Heads-UP). On first launch, the app asked for permission to send me notifications. I said yes. Then I checked the settings. By granting permission for notifications, I did not
give the app permission to use my location. Heads-Up was still disabled, and I have yet to see any modal dialogs asking me to enable it. Location is off by default, and I have to dig through the settings to turn it on. This is the way I think it should be done. Thanks Spyderco.
