Techno 2 with frn scales

i love the 2.5" size. i love my lil native compression lock. and i was looking for more in this size and found the techno 2. i wanted one as soon as i saw it, until i saw the price. over 200$ (215$ actually), i cant see why it is near that much. but that is not actually the topic. i want to know if anyone else would be interested in a frn liner lock version that is a decent price. i would buy one. frn to get the price down, lose a little weight and keep liners.

Being a serious long-time Techno user myself I'd ask: How would you do the FrameLock in FRN scales?

Maybe you'd use some LinerLock? Or some BackLock instead?

I mean, is really a Techno without the FrameLock? :confused:

For me it's really simple: a Techno without it's FrameLock it's not a Techno :D

If the price is an issue for you well, the Techno it's not an option :rolleyes:

Did one in a different way, keep the frame lock add G10 to the other side.

wow that looks really nice. it reminds me of the brouwer (which is on my list). yea something like that would be good, it might make it a little cheaper as well. Thanks now i might be saving up waiting and getting one just to swap a scale out. and yes FRN would look kool as well, something with molded edges.
does it make it any lighter or does it weight about the same. i have no issues with the weight just wondering.

A noticeable difference!
Feels just about right for a knife this size.
