I've bought from Bento. Everything turned out just fine.
They have a good deal on the Millie and Domino.
Millie is S90V and Domino 204P.

Aside from BBS’s business model and getting back to what it might be, I’m pretty convinced as well it’s a Seki model since the font and odd spacing of the word “SPYDERCO” on the tang is the giveaway. My guess in order of likelihood is a blue G10 Delica (remember Sal talking about that sprint a while back?), a blue G10 Lum Tanto (since they just ran the sprint) or a M390 Police 4 in blue G10 (to go along with its K390 mate). We’ll see! :D

Is it because they charge $14.00 for shipping for up to 2 knives or they do not accept returns just because someone gets buyers remorse and believes the whole world should operate like Walmart?

Or maybe it's because of shady situations like in 2014, when they got a sprint of Elmax PM2. If you wanted it, you were forced to buy a Lil' Matriarch as well and it was a $300 package with both knives sold at full MSRP. They did not allow you to buy only the Elmax PM2. Now of course they are free to sell knives however they want, but a business doing that is seriously shady. What other business do you know that makes you buy a $100 product you don't want just so you can buy a $200 product you do want?

I bought just the Elmax Para2 from them. I was not required to buy a Lil’ Matriarch.

Anyway, can we talk about the knife and not BBS? Why does every thread that mentions them have to devolve into a discussion about them? It has all been hashed out before.

I bought a Elmax PM2 from BBS in 2015 or 2016 and I didn't have to buy their Lil Matriarch.

I have bought from them 6 or more times now and have found the following to be true each and every time.
1. Very fast shipping.
2. USPS Priority Shipping which is a fixed price.
3. Nice careful job of packaging.
4. Authentic Brand New Knives without any manufacturer defects or improper blade centering or uneven grinds.
5. No reason whatsoever at all to ever need to return a knife.
6. Rare exclusives and sprint runs found no where else
7. Some pretty good package deals
Same here. Plus, BBS has knives others don't carry. Not many M390 Spydercos out there ....

I wish the new upcoming one will be a G10 Endura.

My money is still on a Japan model. I definitely hope it is a delica or endura with smurf blue frn. Even better if it is both of them. I will get one of each.

Yep, a Smurf FRN Delica with a chrome clip would be nice. I am hoping the most for a Smurf Blue FRN Dragonfly! I'd buy a popcorn bag's worth!

What about a Chief exclusive out of nowhere. Im not convinced it's not a golden.
Has an exclusive ever appeared before the production version? I can’t think of one.
I saw LC post a picture of his new chief on instaG yesterday. They're out to some places.

I saw it, too, but, while LC seems now to have it exclusively, I think he has the production version.

It’s got to be a shaman, right?
What other new model has been that popular?
Why would they do a caly, delica, dragonfly, urban, para anything, etc now? Those have been available for years.
This will be the year of the shaman.

I would imagine it takes a long time to get whatever they ordered made. That's why I really think it's more Para 2's.

That would be interesting, as I was under the impression that DLT was releasing their M390 PM2 again sometime this year...though interestingly enough, they've released the satin/tan 20CV and the DLC version tomorrow. I wonder if DLT pulled out of another M390 run, and maybe BBS is doing theirs again instead??

It's weird to me that people see a difference between 20cv and m390. Is it just the scale color?

I thought the issue with M390 in Golden models was the cost of importing it into the US when they could make what is essentially the same knife much cheaper using the US equivalents of M390 (CTS-204P or CPM-20CV). Perhaps importing K390 and M390 into Japan is less costly, and they don't have domestic equivalents of these steels that I am aware of.

That's what I'm basing it on, is the scale color difference between the exclusives.
