Thats a shame DLC would make a sharp combo

I'm sure St Nick's will have a Red G10 DLC 4V PM2 out before the end of the year. Their 4V Para 3 has reached legendary status.

Hey Paul! Any word on the Red G10/M390 PM2 re-release that you could pass along to us?
No specific date set yet, but we are looking at a release this summer.
so just a question? will these be satin blades or dlc. if it is satin and red g10 with m390. i will be saving my money now.
steelcity16 is correct. They will be satin blade.
absolutely perfect. awesome. satin is the best, no wear on the black making it look all scratched up.

In defense of black, if it's DLC...it takes A LOT to actually scratch up the blade. Chances are you're seeing material from what has been cut on the blade, not actual scratches on the blade itself. DLC cleans up very well with some Flitz and then a little mineral oil to bring back the shine.

+1 DLC is great. As said, the DLC is VERY hard (hence DIAMOND Like Coating) and it isn't going to scratch unless heavily abused. And even it you use it hard enough to puts some actual wear on it, naturally worn DLC looks 1,000 times better than a random patina or scratched SUS410 cladding in my opinion. DLC is my favorite blade finish by far. I would love to see more knives use it. Thank you to all of the dealers who use it on their exclusives! :D

Thanks for the tip! That's really impressive how well it cleans up. That is definitely a good tidbit of info that Spyderco should consider including in the box.

Had my 110V Manix made stupid sharp by a guy here in Michigan and it has finally broke in so that the blade drops freely when I close it. Loving it a good bit more then I did.

Seeing how the DLC cleans up makes me regret not getting one of the Grey/DLC Manix
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.

Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.

Just rub on some Flitz with a cloth?

The DLT Exclusive ParaMilitary2 CPM-20CV Black DLC Blade Tan G-10 DLT Trading is coming back in stock for $175 on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 11:00am CT. These were first released in May 2019 for $149.

https://www.dlttrading.com/spyderco-par ... lade-52022

$175.00 is still a very good price for a PM2 with 20CV, DLC and G-10 considering the regular production PM2 with S45VN, DLC and G-10 is $185.50!
