Which knife if you were....

So... watching "the edge" a movie from the 90s where Anthony Hopkins' character is stranded in the woods after his private plane crashes. and wondering... if this (admittedly unlikely!) scenario happened, which spyderco would you be confident would be most useful? Keep in mind he didn't know the plane was going to crash so it would be an edc knife, probably a folder.
The pm2 or Bradley 2 are the largest knives I usually carry. Though not ideal I imagine they'd be big and sturdy enough. You?

Of the Spydercos I have, I'd probably opt for the M4 Shaman. It's a beefy so and so and should do most everything a folding knife could be called upon to accomplish (within reason).

The secret to survival in the outback with a minimum of gear is to work smart, not hard. At least that's been my experience.
(Of course, the environment will have a say in how hard you have to work in the long run.)

Something less prone to corrosion, with high wear resistence and big enough but easy to manipulate with gloves. Remember, they were in the snow and water for quite some time. I would probably chose my S90V Mille.

I would probably have my orange Delica on me but would prefer some sort of fixed blade like the waterway.

Hopefully I had my Street Bowie on my belt that day. If I knew I'd be flying over the Alaskan wilderness, I can't imagine I wouldn't bring a fixed blade with me.

Any of the following would be better than a small folder in a SHTF wilderness problem. Just say that it was in my checked bag:

Of the knives that I have:
- Spyderco Sustain
- Spyderco Bob Lum Darn Dao
- Spyderco Jumpmaster 2

And I plan on getting the following:
- Spyderco Province
- Spyderco Proficient
- Spyderco Gayle Bradley Bowie

Whatever was on me. Which would hopefully be a Manix 2. My other EDC folders are generally less suited to survival tasks. But I also generally EDC a fixed blade, so I'd be hoping it was the Guardian 3 or Roselli Puukko that day, rather than the Mako, which probably wouldn't be the best choice.

Either way, any knife at all is better than no knife.

Hopefully, this wouldn't happen to me on the day I decided to EDC my Manbug. :D

^^What Vivi said. If I knew I'd be flying over the Alaskan wilderness I'd probably bring at least one good fixed blade as well as a small camp axe and other survival gear.

If I were to pick one of my typical EDC knives, it would be either my CPM REX 45 Military, or my Pacific Salt. Both.

I'm sticking with my Police 4 K390. It's my edc now and I see no reason to change.

I hope I'd be carrying my M4 Shaman, K390 Police, or 4V Manix that day.

Unfortunately your failure to pay attention will lead to your demise. The OP's question was "which Spyderco" (folder)...

;)
