The CF/S90V Shaman is the thing that most catches my eye. But I actually hope it gets delayed a fair while, just because of various other aspects of my life right now. If it delays a bit, I might find the elbow room to snag one. So here is hoping you other folks get your wishes first.

Right, did not realize that - great that the "new ones" are starting to drop now! (Though when it comes to the Shaman, I prefer the standard version over the sprint, and would still do so even if they came at the same price point. Hoping for the Micarta version, not picky when it comes to the steel on that one).

CF and S90V does seem like an odd treatment for this model. When I think of CF/S90V I think of a "gentleman's knife" that you would carry when wearing a suit and tie -- and the Shaman itself doesn't fit that image. But ignoring that mental bump in the road, it interests me. Pricey though. $280
I'll probably hold out for the Cruwear/Micarta model everyone is talking about.

Those are both high performance materials. Seems right at home on a hard use knife like the Shaman to me.

I could do without the carbon fiber, but a high wear resistance stainless like s90v is something I’ve been eagerly waiting for in the shaman. I’ve been hoping for blurple versions of the shaman and manix xl, though I don’t know if I believe it will ever happen.
