Native 5 salt

#1

Post by Cowboyfromhell »

I am curious to know if the hardware on the n5 salt is lc200n? (Screws , backlock).....I know the clip is just painted steel(bummer). I'm wondering why spyderco would use metals that will corrode on a model that is touted as an official "salt" series knife. Aren't the H-1 dflys completely made out of H-1?(screws,backlock, and wire clip)

How do you know the metal on tbe clip will corrode? They are other very stainless steels out there aside from H1 and LC200N. I don't know what they make the clips and hardware out of, but I doubt you could get them to corrode. It is a Salt knife for a reason. Everything on it is designed to never rust.
