Carrying the spydiechef without a clip

Post by prsman »

I’m really diggin it. My office job prevents me from showing off a knife, so I’m use to carrying without using the clip. So, i thought i’d just take it off. Love it!

I do the same - don’t care for the wire clip and how it scrapes the ti-scales, and the Chef is slim enough to land nicely at the bottom of the pocket

I used to never use the clips, either. Now I’m all for them because I don’t like loose knives in there. Be sure to not carry tip up. I don’t know about you, but my pockets have more lint down at the bottom, and of course lint is bad for tight tolerances (pivot).

I agree though, the snail trails look bad if they’re excessive. I put a small piece of clear tape underneath the clip on mine, and it helps to stop pocket/pocket clip wear.
